Mitchell pleasedsome Greystones faciliies approved in Capital Plans

€16m from Development Levies has been approved for the long awaited Delgany to Blacklion Road. This will provide a proper footpath and road. Uniquely it joins 5 schools with a cyclepath though I am surprised that no Government funding is available. The road and path is in a terrible state and many houses have been constructed along it. This is to be spent over the years to 2026 having been put on the plan in 1989!. Far too long but at least it is happening.

€50,000 has been allocated to improve Dr Ryan Park where there have been problems with anti-social behaviour and a lack of Council maintenance.

€780,000 to fit out Greystones Enterprise Centre mostly in 2024.

Also a number of improvements in The Athletic Track and other aspects of Shoreline
