Major Progress for Greystones Harbour in 2015

Sisk met with Greystones Councillors on Tuesday evening and committed to start building the clubhouses for the Community Clubs (Sea Scouts, Rowers, Divers, Anglers and Sailors) in January 2015 and expect to finish at the end of that year. Minister Simon Harris TD expects the Coastguard building to be built in 2015.

Following that work will start on the public square, boardwalk and public park. They also expect to start building the homes soon though the time is not fixed yet.

Councillor Derek Mitchell said ‘I am very pleased that there is a commitment to restart and giving free clubhouses to 5 organisations is great for sport and the youth of this town. The new harbour, even though unfinished, has added greatly to the facilities for locals and tourist alike’

Probably most people have forgotten what is to be done but there are some images on http://issuu.com/exsite/docs/harpresendm6-13/13?e=2513774/7263720
