Greystones Fianna Fail Mayor has criticised FG for not providing jobs already and for Commercial rates increases. Where has he been in recent years and during the election? In Government for 10 years FFs mad policies have destroyed our economy and jobs, it will take FG the best part of a decade to sort it out and make Ireland competitive again.

Commercial rates have risen because FF cut the grant to Wicklow County Council to replace domestic rates. Business is now contributing 90% of the amount that the Government does up from 64% only 4 years ago. Rates needs to be halved to make business competitive again. The Government needs to agree to a new source of funding as well as the Council becoming more efficient.
