When the last Development Plan was being prepared four years ago I pushed to get this road ‘listed for improvement’. I am pleased that €370,000 has just been allocated to improve it. The section from the village to the church has been improved, strengthened and a footpath added, over the past 4 years. This money, to be spent in 2009, will allow the rest to be improved. One part is too narrow and I expect that it will be widened.
