At Monday’s meeting of Wicklow County Council Cllr Derek Mitchell said that there would be complete traffic chaos if it was not built ‘The Council has given permission for over 2,000 school places on this road which has been planned since at least 1987. N11 at Glen O’ Downs needs Changes to be Safer

I have been concerned at the number of crashes, especially on the Northbound bend near the Glenview. A crash barrier was put up a while ago. A proper fence is currently being put up to better define the road edge and it is being resurfaced at the moment. However I think that the camber or banking of the road on the bend is not steep enough. Once again I have asked for this to be checked and I hope this will now be checked.
