Greystones public park started but paths muddy

Cllr Derek Mitchell welcomed the developer starting work on the public  park, north of the marina, but the Cliff Walk path is very muddy as a result. Both through the site where the trucks cross & along the path.  I have asked the developer and Council to urgently make a better temporary surface in view of the many people using it.

The developer has quickly said he will clean the crossing and will keep it clean after heavy machines have crossed. These will mostly remain in the north area so will not cross frequently. They also mentioned that the piles on site will be crushed when piling is complete in the coming months.

Postscript. 7/2/19. Glenveigh, the developer, has now agreed to put a coating of stone on the worst parts of the path by their works.
