Mitchell pleased N11 works at Kilmacanoge receive design funding

Mitchell pleased N11 works at Kilmacanoge receive Transport Ireland has allocated €100k for the fees to design and bring the Kilmacanoge Parallel Service Road to tender stage by midyear. This safety improvement will separate the traffic before the Southbound junction, similar to the N4 at Lucan. This should be complete next year or possibly this year if it goes well. This is Phase 1 of the of the 4 Phase plan to improve the M/N11 road from the M50 to Coynes Cross.

At the same time tender documents for the design, feasibility, environmental evaluation, business case and Statutory Order documents stages of Phase 2 to 4 are being prepared by the Road Design Office in Kildare. I understand this is costing €300k.
