Next Tuesday the Greystones Councillors are meeting with Sisk and the marina operators to discuss progress on the harbour site following a positive discussion between the Councillors 2 weeks before.

I want the project finished but even if a date for overall completion can’t be given I will be strongly pressing them to build the Clubhouses for the rowers, divers, Sea Scouts, sailors and anglers next as they provide important facilities for youths. I want a date when these will be finished.

Completing the Clubs and Coastguard building will enable work to start on the excellent public square. This must wait because running construction trucks over the good paving would ruin it.

I want to see any available money used to complete permanent parts of the project rather than  being spent on temporary facilities which would be ripped up once construction starts in earnest.
